The Engineering Department provides for the implementation of capital projects designated by the Business Center. The department consists of the Design and Construction departments.  Engineering is responsible for the bidding of construction and consultant service contracts for new facilities, improvements, renovations, repairs and maintenance of our transportation facilities.

The department handles large Public Works projects, project estimating and technical support for operations work. Engineering also coordinates the construction permitting process for the Authority.
