Throughout the month of February, NFTA Metro is paying tribute to Black History month and the many great contributions that African Americans have provided throughout U.S. history.  As part of this great celebration, a special live performance was held by the African American Cultural Center at our downtown bus terminal earlier this week.

The African American Cultural Center has enabled spirits to soar and offered sanctuary, validation, and celebration for the globally unique African American experience since 1958. Its programs and services are structured to motivate personal growth, stimulate untapped potential, and facilitate a better understanding of cultural diversity among all people.

We hope you will share in our Black History campaign as we recognize monumental events in history and our dedicated and hardworking employees through social media, on Elements, and through public service announcements. 

We hope you will also join us at the downtown MTC on February 27 at noon for a second presentation by the spectacular African American Cultural Center.
