January marks the 19th annual National Mentoring month, a national campaign aimed at expanding quality mentoring opportunities to connect more of our community's young people with caring adults.  In an effort to recognize the collaborative mentoring efforts within our community, the NFTA and Lamar Transit Advertising have partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier to highlight their #BiggerTogether Campaign.  

For almost 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara and the Southern Tier (BBBS) has strongly believed that children in our community have incredible potential. The agency’s new #BiggerTogether Campaign, launched in 2019, seeks to find more volunteer mentors who can help defend the potential of youth in our community. The NFTA, Lamar, and BBBS were proud to partner together to bring this powerful message to the streets with advertisements on 50 NFTA Metro bus tails throughout the community.
