On Saturday, August 17, NFTA Metro participated in the 17th annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Heritage Festival held at LaSalle Park. We had a Metro bus and paratransit van in the parade accompanied by 30 dedicated employees adorned in customized t-shirts. The team handed out cultural flags and candy to attendees of the event.
We also hosted a customer outreach in the park that featured Metro's Community bus for all to see. Visitors who stopped by participated in surveys and entered to win monthly passes. A lot of fun was had by all. Take a look.
