Yes, it's finally here - SUMMER!  Although it's a great time of year, the season often drives questions on what to wear to work on those hot and sunny days.  The Authority supports a casual business dress code for its professional and office employees, but emphasizes that there may be times when traditional business attire is appropriate. 

While the warmer weather is guaranteed to provide times for lighter clothing, it is a good idea to follow these simple standards below:

• When in doubt, don't wear "it."  If you think something could be inappropriate for work, it most likely is. 
• Strike a balance.  Layering is always a good option.
• Be polished.  No matter what season it is, it's important to make a positive impression.  
• Be safe.  Full open-toed sandals of any sort can cause safety concerns and should not be worn.
