Members of our HSEQ team participated in an Earth Day Celebration on Monday, April 20, hosted by Erie County and its partners at the Northland Workforce Training Center in Buffalo. The event featured family-friendly activities, sustainability-themed giveaways, and information tables on various environmental programs.

During the event, our team showcased the Wetland Treatment System at the Buffalo Airport and had opportunities to discuss our sustainable practices. There was also a recognition ceremony for the Erie County Environmental Management Council's Annual Environmental Excellence Awards and the WNY Stormwater Coalition's Rain Barrel Painting Contest. Last year, the NFTA was honored with the Erie County 2025 Environmental Excellence Award for implementing battery-electric buses in our fleet.
