According to the Calorie Control Council, the average American will have consumed 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving.
Tons of turkey, mounds of mashed potatoes, spoons full of stuffing, and dishes full of casseroles are just some of the options on the table. And, of course - there’s the pumpkin pie and other sweet treats.
Although for most, one day full of food is not that big of a deal. But, it is a good idea to try and burn off some of those calories, so they don’t build up and cause weight gain. Check out the image for a few tips on how to burn off a few of those 4,500 calories.
