Saturday, May 16, The National Warplane Museum will be conducting a mission called “Operation Thanks From Above” which will be led by the museum’s very own Douglas C-47, affectionately named Whiskey 7.

This series of flyovers will take place across the Western NY region including the areas of Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse and will overfly key hospitals, Veteran Affairs locations, city centers, parks and other notable venues. The mission is intended to salute our local first responders as well as healthcare and essential workers.   More details including a flyover map are available on the museum's event page.
