MetroTasking is Metro Bus and Rail’s new ad campaign. We’re using space on the buses, shelter posters, radio and TV to show how much more you can get done in your day if you’re NOT driving.
In case you’re wondering, Metro actually has a really efficient ad program. We trade for most of our opportunities, as opposed to buying the space or time. The bus sides and shelters Metro uses are spaces that are between paying customers. The majority of our radio time comes from trading out ad space or from the traffic reports we provide. Our television time also comes from trading traffic information. The result is a big campaign for very little money.
