The nation's most popular marmot saw his shadow Thursday morning after leaving his burrow at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney.

That means we can expect below-average temperatures for the next six weeks, if you subscribe to the legend of Phil's weather-predicting abilities.

Locally, Buffalo Bert saw his shadow on the morning of January 28 at the Hawk Creek Wildlife Center in East Aurora. Unfortunately, this means they are both in agreement that more snow is on it's way.

Bundle up, Buffalo!
