Over 120 runners were flying down the Niagara Falls Airport main runway on Saturday Aug. 26. 

The Calspan Run the Runway 5K was held on a beautifully clear day with temps in the low 70’s.  The NFTA was well represented in the race and on the podium this year. A ½ mile kids run was held for youngsters 12 and under and most of those kids ran the 5K too. 

The overall race winner was a Christopher Desiderio from North Tonawanda with a time of 18:05

Kim Minkel helped cheer on the runners and handed out medals to the winners. The race helped raise funds for the Niagara Fall Boys and Girls Club.
