ARFF Team New
Payton Connors & Liam Sullivan

Our Airport Rescue Firefighting team is thrilled to welcome two new team members: Payton Connors and Liam Sullivan.

Payton Connors wanted to become a firefighter after being involved in a house fire at the age of four. His prior experience includes three years as a volunteer firefighter and one and a half years working in an ambulance. He holds a degree from the University of Buffalo and is the first in his family to become a firefighter. In addition to his role with ARFF, he is a lieutenant for a local fire department.

Liam Sullivan holds a degree from SUNY Brockport and is following his passion for firefighting. While waiting to become an Airport Firefighter, Liam continued to take classes to improve his firefighting skills and knowledge. Chief Major experienced this firsthand while lecturing for the NYS Fire ARFF Class for Volunteer Fire Departments; Liam was there representing his Volunteer Fire Department, West Seneca.

Please join in welcoming Payton and Liam to the NFTA team!
