In fall of last year, the tile murals that hung on the MTC's walls for over 30 years had to be taken down due to construction.  During that time, all of the 198 tiles were accounted for and made available by public release to the rightful "artists" who created them. 

In the process of returning the tiles to their owners and families, we learned more about the participants in the project and the community excitement that surrounded it in 1986.  With less than half of the tiles remaining and a variety of great stories shared, we found a unique way to further highlight this amazing time in MTC history.
