After 54 years, Bob Stone is retiring from the NFTA.  A special celebration was held in his honor at the NFTA's March Board Of Commissioners Meeting.

Our Executive Director, Kim Minkel, paid tribute to Bob reading two proclamations; one from Niagara County and the other from the City of Niagara Falls, proclaiming April 1, 2024, "Bob Stone Day."  Ms. Minkel also recognized Bob's significant contributions to the Niagara Falls International Airport and the surrounding community and for his continued commitment to the betterment of the NFTA during his longstanding tenure.  

This is actually Bob Stone's second retirement from the NFTA. He retired almost 19 years ago after working here for 36 years.  

Congratulations Bob, you are an amazing man and you will be greatly missed at the NFTA!
