The NFTA has partnered with Tim Horton’s for the start of its COFFEE AND A COP program. The first event was held on June 2, at the Tim Horton’s located at 474 Michigan Avenue in Buffalo (which is technically within walking distance from the MTC).  

Coffee with a Cop is a long-standing national law enforcement program that brings police officers and the community members they serve together, over coffee, for a brighter tomorrow. 

Our transit police and K9 teams had the opportunity to meet with a variety of patrons who stopped by as well as 75+ students from two local schools who were on field trips. During the event, patrons received a free small hot coffee courtesy of Tim Hortons. 

We want to say THANK YOU to the wonderful Tim Hortons' team -- Randi, Amit, Sahil, Erica, Greg, and their amazing staff for being such awesome hosts!  A lot of fun was had by all involved.
