Chief Bill Major is retiring after 18 years with the NFTA, where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment within the Airport Fire Department. Throughout his career, he has excelled in various roles, including Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief. Since being appointed Chief in 2017, Bill has played a crucial role in improving Airport safety and emergency response protocols. His commitment to the fire department and the community has made a lasting impact, and he will be greatly missed.

The ARFF team will hold a retirement celebration for Bill on his last official day, September 28, featuring a special walk-out ceremony.
