Members of our TAPD participated in a National Night Out event at the Olive Baptist Church on Delaware Avenue Tuesday Night. 

National Night Out exists to help promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie across the country. Every police department marks National Night Out differently, as some hold cookouts, festivals, or simple meet and greets with neighbors up and down residential streets.

In Buffalo and throughout the suburbs, there were a number of events held throughout the day. Some of these included a Touch a Truck, a canned goods food drive, a job fair with dozens of employers on hand, and a chicken bar-b-que.

We were excited to be a part of this great tradition!
