The NFTA hosted its annual "Run the Runway" event on Saturday, August 15, at the Niagara Falls Airport. Sponsored by Greenlight Networks, the event welcomed runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels. This event celebrated community spirit while supporting a worthy cause, with proceeds from "Run the Runway" benefiting the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club. 

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and participants of the event. A special thank you goes out to everyone who made this event possible, including our TAPD, airport operations crews, airport staff, our partners at TSA, the 914th Air Refueling Wing, and all those working behind the scenes who helped open the airfield to runners and contributed to the success of the 2026 Run the Runway.
