March is Women's History Month, a time to honor the contributions of women past and present. Some WHM facts include:
- In 2025, the theme is "Moving Forward Together." In 2024, the theme was "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion."

The colors purple, green, and white are associated with women's history because they were the colors of the Women's Suffrage and Political Union in the early 1900s.

Women's History Month in the United States dates back to 1857 when women protested poor working conditions in New York City factories.

In 1987, Congress made March National Women's History Month.
