On Friday, March 13, the NFTA unveiled its new specially wrapped Metro bus, honoring the significant contributions of women who drive progress in Western New York every day.

The bus, developed in collaboration with the Western New York Women's Foundation, was unveiled at a ceremony at Metro's Cold Spring Garage. Designed by Caitlin Klein, our senior graphic designer, the bus commemorates Women's History Month and honors the leadership, resilience, and influence of women throughout the region.

State and NFTA officials spoke during the event and honored the achievements of women who have shaped Western New York's history and future.  

By bringing this celebration to the streets, the NFTA hopes to spotlight the voices and achievements of women while inspiring future generations of leaders.  

As the bus begins its service throughout the system, it will serve as a daily reminder that the progress of Western New York has been and will continue to be driven by the significant contributions of women.
