Yesterday, members of the NFTA took part in a flag-raising ceremony at Niagara Square in honor of Disability Pride Month, celebrated in July. The ceremony aimed to raise awareness and underscore the abilities, talents, dignity, strength, and contributions of every individual within the community. The event also commemorated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which was enacted on July 26, 1990.
