Over the past year, NFTA's own Corey Hacker of the Public Affairs Department has been diagnosed with a devastating auto-immune illness. The initial prognosis and treatment plan have been extremely difficult on him, his wife, and their three beautiful children.  However, Corey is a fighter and has continued to soldier through the hard times.  Yet, he and his family have continued to search for answers and help.

Recently, the Hackers were informed of some treatment options that have been deemed promising and hopeful to fix what is happening. Unfortunately, the treatments are not generally covered under standard insurance and can be very expensive.

In an effort to help Corey get the recommended course of treatment, team members of the NFTA are hosting a bake sale fundraiser.  The bake sale will be held in the first floor conference room of the MTC on Friday, February 7 from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Everyone is welcome.

If you would like to provide baked goods for the sale, please contact Helen Tederous, Nancy Peters, or Sue Fadel.  All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Hacker family for medical expenses.
