Brendan Orr has been promoted to Manager of Government Affairs. Since joining the NFTA nearly two years ago, Brendan has lobbied elected officials on the local, state, and federal levels to help secure funding and advocate for legislation supporting Metro Bus and Rail and the Buffalo Niagara and Niagara Falls International Airports. Additionally, he helps develop and execute the NFTA's Government Affairs strategies, communicates with elected officials and their staff on the latest NFTA news & needs, manages a robust legislation tracking system, and handles the Authority's lobby reporting with the state, among other responsibilities.

When asked about his time at the NFTA, Brendan said, "While I've only been with the NFTA for just under two years, my passion for this work and advancing transportation in Western New York runs deep. I'm grateful and honored to work alongside the kind, intelligent, and dedicated individuals across every corner of our team who keep our operations running for the community."
