Jim Celeste has been promoted to General Manager of the Niagara Falls Airport. Jim will be responsible for all activities and personnel involved in terminal and airfield operations, airfield electrical, fuel operations, equipment maintenance, and airport landscape services departments at the Niagara Falls Airport.
Jim will also develop and maintain relationships with local legislative offices in Niagara County and the Military Air Base Leadership. Jim has over 30 years of Aviation leadership experience including the last six years with the NFTA as an Assistant Terminal Superintendent.
He actually started working at the Buffalo Airport in 1981 in customer service and ground operations for People Express and then moved on to successive roles including Customer Service Supervisor for Northwest Airlines. He also held General Manager roles for Midway Airlines in Buffalo and JetBlue in Buffalo and the Boston Logan hub.
Jim is a man of many talents. He is a professional musician, specializing in drums and percussion and is a member of the Buffalo Musician's Association Local 92. He also is involved with MusicalFare Theatre in Amherst and plays in the orchestra.
Now, if that isn't enough, Jim is also a member of the National Ski Patrol for HoliMont Ski Club and is a Village Trustee for the Village of Williamsville.
