John Schaefer has been promoted to Vice President of Capital Delivery and Support Operations. He is responsible for the following departments: the Facility and Property Group, Engineering, Information Technology, and the Health, Safety & Environmental Quality Department.

John began his career at the NFTA in the Engineering Department as a Project Manager in 2007 and has been promoted five times. He has previously held the roles of Manager of Design, Deputy Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering and Property, and, most recently, VP of Engineering and Facilities Management. John is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New York, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Colorado. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from SUNY Fredonia and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buffalo.
