Kelly Khatib been promoted to Public Information Officer where she will be responsible for developing press opportunities, releasing information to the media and the public, and cultivating positive community relations for the NFTA. 

Kelly joined the NFTA in 2022, just in time for two historic snowstorms. She has done an amazing job with the promotion of several major NFTA campaigns including "Ride Nice," Airport Fire and Police Recruitment, as well as the roll out of our new MetGo fare system. Kelly has a strong background in broadcast journalism previously working as the Morning Reporter for Spectrum News One and as a digital reporter/producer for WIVB News 4.

As PIO, Kelly will continue to promote the authority's mission and values, as well as support innovative methods of sharing information to the public. She is also participating in Leadership Buffalo 2024.
