Courtney Crosby's journey with the NFTA began in 2011, driven by her commitment to serving her community and keeping Western New York moving. As a Bus Operator, she interacted with riders from diverse backgrounds, gaining insights into their needs. For Courtney, driving wasn’t just about steering a bus; it was about building trust, creating positive experiences, and ensuring the safe transport of countless individuals every day.

In 2018, she transitioned to the Customer Relations Department at the MTC, where her passion for helping others flourished. With her deep operational knowledge, Courtney effectively addressed customer inquiries and supported outreach initiatives. In 2023, she took on a new challenge in the Adjudication Department, broadening her understanding of agency policies related to transit violations and public accountability.

Most recently, motivated by her extensive experience with the NFTA and her interest in law enforcement, Courtney pursued and secured a position as a Transit Authority Police Officer. After completing her training at the Niagara County Police Academy last summer, she has begun in-depth field training with the TAPD team. Courtney expressed her gratitude for being part of the team and looks forward to making a positive impact on our riders and the community.

We hope you will join us in congratulating Courtney on this significant achievement and her new role with the TAPD.
