HSEQ is pleased to announce the rollout of a new hazard reporting system. The “See Say” app will be available for all NFTA/Metro Employees to download and further report hazards and unsafe conditions to the HSEQ Department.
The new app will provide another pathway for employees to communicate safety concerns or issues (in addition to raising the issue with your Supervisor, writing up a Transportation Report or Waybill, discussing with your Safety Committee representative, or contacting HSEQ by other methods). Hazard reporting is non-punitive (with the exception of willful safety or legal violations) and can be submitted anonymously, or by entering the employee’s contact information so they can receive feedback on how the issue was resolved.
The introduction of this new reporting system will allow us to continuously improve safety performance, integrate Safety Management Systems (SMS) into our safety culture, and most importantly, maintain a safe work environment. Please keep your eyes open for information regarding the rollout of the “See Say” app. All employees will receive a handout with information regarding the app and work areas will have the details regarding how to download, set up, and use the app.
