March begins with rising uncertainty, as war begins in Iran and tensions spread throughout the region. This comes at a time when many national and global conflicts continue to overwhelm our media. When multiple crises occur at once, it can compound stress and worry. These events are serious and the steady stream of disturbing information can feel relentless. While we are geographically distant from the war, the emotional impact is not distant. Some people may have personal connections or circumstances that carry a deeper weight. It is important that we remain aware of this reality.

If you are noticing an impact, you are not alone. C+FS EAP is committed to supporting workplaces where everyone feels safe and supported. We have counseling and resources for you as you navigate the information and unfolding events. Please share our information widely and reach out if needed.

Today, our hearts are with all who are in harm's way. We hope for peace and stability in the days ahead.

March is also Women’s History Month. During difficult moments, we pause to recognize the contributions and leadership of women across our communities. This is a chance to reflect on equity and the importance of creating environments to support women at all stages of life. We invite you to view our webinar below and listen to this important discussion about gender, work, and the mental load many women carry.
