Explore And More Team 2
Metro Operations Team
Metro has installed a cool bus exhibit at the new downtown Explore and More Museum, which is expected to open this in June.  Although somewhat ironic, Bus #716 will be part of the museum's permanent collection for all to see. This innovative display is a result of an amazing collaborative effort under the direction of the NFTA's former Surface Transportation Director, Walt Zmuda, and Cold Spring Station's Dave Rugg, Jeff Sweet, Mike Haniszewski, Gary McCooey, and Gary Tamol.

The display was designed at child height and everything on the bus works including the lights and the programmable destination sign.  And, the license plate is a great embellishment.

The museum will host their annual Touch-A-Truck this year on Sunday, June 9 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.   If you stop by, be sure to check our exhibit and look inside the bus, you should see a few familiar faces.  Congrats to everyone involved in this very unique Metro project!
