We are thrilled to share the kind words we heard about our Metro drivers and service for the month of February. Please see below:

  • The caller stated this is a very good driver.
  • The caller stated that the operator did a fantastic job of getting him to his destination on time to catch his next bus. She also called the driver to have them wait if needed. The caller says she is an excellent driver. Great Job!!
  • The customer stated that this driver is very friendly, courteous, and always on time. Goes above and beyond.
  • The customer stated that this driver was very courteous and professional when dealing with a person under the influence.
  • The caller stated the driver went above and beyond to ensure he got his expensive bike, which was left on the back rack.
  • The customer complimented the driver for being kind and patient. The driver was mindful of dropping her off due to the snow bank at the bus stop.
  • The caller stated that this driver was great and went above and beyond.
  • The customer is very happy that this bus showed up and got him to work on time. The caller said the bus had not shown up before and was happy that he still made it to work on time because of this driver.
  • The customers said snow was falling this evening, slowing traffic. As a result, the driver on route 23, bus 1920, arrived at the Bailey turnaround a few minutes later than usual. Drivers usually take a well-deserved few-minute break before embarking on their long return trip. The driver sacrificed his break and immediately turned around, onboarded passengers, including me (the customer), and departed shortly after 5:15 so we could arrive home without delay.
  • The customer was very happy this driver allowed him to ride so that he could get to work and reload his MetGo card; the customer wanted to thank him and say this is what it is all about. I am trying to get to work and not looking for trouble. The caller was very grateful and wanted to commend this driver.
  • The customer uses a service animal and wanted to compliment her operator (7137). She stated the driver was very polite and mindful of her service dog. 
  • The caller stated that the new bus driver was gentle and polite. The customer wanted to thank the driver for being very helpful.
  • The caller stated the driver goes above and beyond, has a great personality, and is always on time.
  • The caller stated that her mother is new to Buffalo and is still learning the bus system. She missed her stop and ended up all the way at Lockport. She was able to speak to driver 5359 through her mother's phone to make sure she got off at the correct stop, where she was waiting to meet her. She appreciates his kindness, professionalism, and caring about his passengers. Keep up the great work!
