Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1. It is a time for families and communities to come together to celebrate African American culture and usually culminates in a feast called Karamu on the sixth day.
Kwanzaa was created by activist Maulana Karenga, based on harvest festival traditions from various parts of Africa.
