Metro Supervisors John Helms and Sam Shaffer were driving in a Metro vehicle while on duty when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle. John and Sam have both suffered serious physical injuries and have undergone various medical procedures. 

Both gentlemen are now at home and in the process of long recoveries. We are working together across the authority to help raise money to help them offset unanticipated expenses for items to help in their healing. 

A collection is being taken up via two 50/50 raffles.  Please take a look at the flyer attached for all of the details. 

The drawings will be held in the MTC lobby on Oct. 22 at NOON. Anyone is welcome to attend.
