In 2023, Erie County's Office for People with Disabilities Director, Frank Cammarata, invited Patricia Wiseman and Holly Nidell to join the Buffalo Bills’ Accessibility Advisory Team. Working alongside the Bills’ operations team, their design partners, and disability advocates, they helped shape the accessibility features for the new stadium.

Last week, Patricia and Holly had the opportunity to return and see that vision fully realized. From barrier-free entryways and universal design principles to sensory rooms, enhanced wheelchair-accessible routes, and live captioning throughout the venue, the new stadium is already being recognized as one of the most accessible stadiums in the NFL.

Accessibility isn’t just about removing barriers; it’s about creating a place where everyone feels welcome, included, and able to fully enjoy the game-day experience. With tonight’s preseason home game, the timing couldn’t be better to highlight these new stadium features.
