This morning, June 12, NFTA leadership and team members gathered to commemorate Juneteenth by ceremonially raising the Pan-African Flag. This event acknowledged the significance of June 19, the day when the last enslaved African Americans in the United States learned of their freedom.

The gathering also provided an opportunity to reflect on freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality as NFTA team members prepare to participate in the Juneteenth Parade and Festival this weekend.
