Rosa Parks Digital NFTA
February 4, 2025

Today, Tuesday, February 4, Metro is leaving a front seat on each of our buses open to celebrate Rosa Parks' courage and role in the fight for equality.

Rosa Parks was an American civil rights activist best known for refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger, which catalyzed the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has honored her as "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement."

Thank you for joining us in paying tribute to her legacy.
