HSEQ team members participated in an Earth Day Celebration on Monday, April 20, hosted by Erie County and its partners at the Northland Workforce Training Center in Buffalo. The event featured family-friendly activities, sustainability-themed giveaways, and information tables about various environmental programs. 

During the event, our team showcased our Wetland Treatment System at the Buffalo Airport and advocated for sustainable practices. Additionally, there was a recognition ceremony for the Erie County Environmental Management Council's Annual Environmental Excellence Awards and the WNY Stormwater Coalition's Rain Barrel Painting Contest. Last year, the NFTA was honored with the Erie County 2025 Environmental Excellence Award for the implementation of battery-electric buses into our fleet.
