We are so excited to participate in the 19th Puerto Rican and Hispanic Parade and Festival this year.

In the parade, we will have a trolley bus, Paratransit van, and 30+ "marching" employees adorned in a specially designed Metro t-shirt. The group will be handing out flags and connecting with parade-goers.

After the parade, we will continue the fun with our Community bus on-site at Hudson Street as part of the Health Fair.   We will have staff on-hand to talk about current Metro initiatives including bus balancing, the new fare system, as well as available job opportunities for bus drivers and mechanics. If you are out and about, please come say hello!  

The schedule for Saturday is as follows: 

11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  FLAG RAISING ceremony in front of Buffalo City Hall.

11:45 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Parade along Niagara Street to Pennsylvania Ave.  

As the parade concludes, Niagara Street from Hudson Street to Jersey Avenues will remain closed for the Health Fair until 5 p.m.
