All employees must wear a face mask when not able to maintain 6ft distance from other individuals.  If you are not sure if you will come in close contact with someone else (hallways, rest rooms, common spaces) you should wear your mask.  Proper wearing of a face mask includes covering both your mouth and nose.

This requirement is a directive by the NYS Governor’s office (EO 202.17 AND 202.18) and is required for all employees of all essential businesses or entities, which includes the NFTA.

This directive will be enforced for the safety of our employees and their families.

Any NFTA Metro employees found not wearing masks or wearing them improperly will be sent home without pay.
