Omar Campuzano presenting to the group

On Wednesday, October 15, Metro team members conducted training on our Limited Emergency Service Plan at the MTC. This session included staff responsible for overseeing Metro operations and managing public communications during weather-related service disruptions.

This plan is designed to establish schedules with a minimum service level that can be implemented on a route-by-route basis as needed for future extreme weather-related emergencies. By preparing our staff with the tools and knowledge to implement the Limited Emergency Service Plan effectively, Metro can ensure that essential transportation services continue to operate while minimizing disruptions for passengers.

This proactive approach not only enhances customer trust and safety but also streamlines operations, ultimately leading to improved service reliability during challenging weather events. Thank you to everyone who took part in this training.
