Beginning in April 2019, Metro customers will be able to pay their fares quickly and easily using a smart phone application called Token Transit.

Through the phone app, our customers will be able to purchase single rides, round trip rail passes, and day passes using their credit or debit cards. Prior to boarding, customers will activate their ticket, and then simply show the mobile ticket to the bus driver or ticket inspector.

All traditional payment options will still be available, but this is an exciting new way to make taking Metro bus and rail easier for existing customers and to encourage more people to try transit.
