During the month of February, our Customer Service team received the following commendations:

  • I am writing to say a few kind words about the female bus driver on the #14 Abbott Road outbound bus to ECC South.  I catch the bus every morning at 7:25am at Mercy Hospital, and she always greets me with a "Good Morning" and “How are you Today?".  She is very pleasant and I just feel that she deserves a pat on the back for a job well done. Even in these stressful times she makes the bus ride a pleasant experience.  I don't know her name but that is her regular route.  I am not one to normally write a letter to compliment someone but this driver is an asset to your company and deserves recognition for a job well done.

  • I just wanted to let you know that you have a wonderful man/driver.  Not only is he very polite but he is courteous as well. With the snowbanks blocking most of the bus stops he is nice enough to move up a little or pull away from the snow a little to let you on or off the bus.  He is really appreciated.  A fine young man.

  • The driver for Bus 44 has been very prompt and polite through all his trips to Lockport, really appreciate his service.

  • Caller wanted to say, the Operator handled a disgruntle passenger very professionally and never lost her cool.

  • I'm sorry to learn this Operator will be changing routes. He's both affable and considerate. He will be missed.

  • I am a registered nurse. I have not taken metro in a long time and was very impressed I would like someone to please thank the young man driving the 20a on 2/7/22 around 10pm. He was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. He saved me an hour ride into a dangerous downtown neighborhood by suggesting a simple route with no transfers that was not evident/offered on my Moovit app. Please someone thank him on behalf of myself and all the other drivers that I am sure he has helped countless other times.

Thank you to all of our dedicated, hard-working operators for serving our riders in the best way possible day-in-and-day-out.
