In case you are not aware, FEMA will send a test emergency message to everyone's smartphone today, October 4.  The nationwide test is estimated to start at around 2:20pm. There is no way to shut off the test push as a device user.    

Domestic violence survivors may have hidden smartphones as part of their safety plan and this alert will come through on those phones.
