The NFTA was proud to take part in Buffalo’s Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade on Saturday, August 15, joining thousands of community members in celebrating culture, heritage, family, and pride.

NFTA-Metro employees walked the parade route alongside friends, families, and neighbors, proudly representing the communities we serve every day. With Puerto Rican and Latin American flags filling the streets, our beautifully wrapped Metro bus, escorted by the Transit Authority Police Department, helped anchor the procession. Our team emcee, Mike Hernandez, led our group down Niagara Street, showcasing the diversity, energy, and spirit that make Western New York so special.
