Kelly And Kat
Kelly Khatib & Catherine Shick

NFTA’s Kelly Khatib and Catherine Shick from FeedMore WNY were on channels 2 WGRZ and 4 WIVB this week. They were there to talk about the NFTA's longstanding partnership with FeedMore WNY and our 2023 Holiday Food Drive to help those in need in our community.

The NFTA is collecting canned goods and other non-perishables in food bins across the Authority through December 20.  Some of the most needed items include: Canned Soups and Stews, Pasta, Rice, Stuffing Mix, Peanut Butter, Cereal, and Canned Chicken and Tuna.

In addition to our internal collection, the public is welcome to drop off items at the MTC, 181 Ellicott Street, and/or the Buffalo Airport Firehouse, 120 Amherst Villa Rd.

FeedMore WNY offers dignity, hope, and a brighter future by providing nutritious food, friendship, and skills training to its Western New York neighbors in need. Through its food bank distribution center and partner hunger-relief agencies, as well as its home-delivered meal program, other targeted feeding programs, and RISE workforce development training, FeedMore WNY alleviates hunger and assists community members of all ages throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. Last year FeedMore WNY provided healthy food and warm meals for tens of thousands of community residents. More information is available at www.feedmorewny.org.
