On Friday, September 13, the NFTA held a special flag raising ceremony at the MTC to kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15-10/15). Our Public Affairs Director, Helen Tederous, emceed the event, which included representatives from the WNY Hispanic Heritage Council, the Buffalo Puerto Rican and Hispanic Parade, Upstate New York Black and Latino Pride, and the NFTA's Hispanic Heritage Committee. 

After the ceremony, there was a "Taste of Hispanic Culture" reception held in our MTC lobby and live entertainment in the concourse by Amor and Heritage.
