The Buffalo Common Council has been supporting the city's winter preparation efforts for 2025 with its third annual Winter Preparedness Series, which provides free winter kits and safety information to residents. This initiative, along with an updated City of Buffalo Snow Plan, includes a new warming center, mobile lift units for clearing emergency routes, and additional snow-fighting equipment, all designed to enhance the city's response to winter storms. 

NFTA team members have been on-site at each location to provide winter rider information, travel tips, and more. These events have provided us with valuable networking opportunities, enabling us to discuss our services and gather important feedback. Tonight (10/22), our outreach team will be wrapping up our participation at the last event of the series at the Belle Center.
