The NFTA is "going pink" in various ways in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month - October.

The water in the two fountains outside the Buffalo Airport will be turned pink using an LED system; the Transit Police patrol vehicle will bear a pink decal and officers will proudly be exchanging their regular badges for pink versions for the month; the Buffalo Airport firefighting trucks will be adorned with pink decals; and there will be special rider-alerts on Metro-Buses and the rail, encouraging regular mammography exams. The Fountain Plaza Metro Rail Station and Buffalo Airport will highlight the month with special pink lighting.

We will also be using specially-designed logos on our website and social media channels throughout the month.

For those employees wishing to participate, we will be taking a GOING PINK group photo in the MTC lobby on Friday, October 4 at 10 a.m.   Please join us!
