On Tuesday, Wafa Dubashi, Genevieve Kosmowski, and Bruce Izard attended the MWBE Forum in Albany, NY.  

New York State was marking the 35th anniversary of New York State’s MWBE Program and this year’s theme was – Championing Our MWBEs: Building on a Legacy of Equity and Excellence in New York State.

Genevieve and Bruce provided training to participants on how to do business with government agencies and authorities. Wafa distributed information to small businesses that were interested in getting DBE certified.

NFTA is one of only 4 authorities that provide DBE certification in New York State.
