The NFTA participated in the 35^th Annual Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day on Wednesday, August 2. The event hosted a large crowd at the Niagara Falls Convention Center.

DD-Day presents great opportunities for teams to come together to learn more about best practices and great things that are happening within our community. This annual event offers great opportunities to share, learn, network, and build new friendships.

Holly Nidell was a member of the DD-Day Planning Committee and helped coordinate our participation and others. Holly, Patricia Wiseman, and Kara Stromberg also represented the NFTA at our information table.  The team helped ensure that every Paratransit customer that got a ride to the event was also picked up at the end of the convention.
